Annual General Meeting (AGM)

LHRC boosts 120 members two of which are organizations while others are    individuals. Members, form the Annual General Assembly, the highest organ of the organization. Affiliates meet annually to ensure the organization operates within its mandate and scope.  The constituent deliberate on the contextual framework of the LHRC while receiving the Audited Financial and Annual Report. They are in charge of making decisions on general lines of policy, including the power to amend the memorandum and articles of association, as well as to appoint the Board of Directors.

 

 

Board of Directors

The Board is not only responsible to the General Assembly but plays a key role in decision making in all matters of policies and projects for the Centre.  The panel is in charge of administration in regard to implementation of activities. The panel of Directors is responsible for hiring the Executive Director, and confirming the hiring of staff members employed by the LHRC. The team further reviews and approves policies and regulations in relation with personnel, finance and facilities management. It also approves annual plans and budgets to ensure that programs and activities are carried on efficiently and professionally through a smooth, efficient governance and direction of the Centre.
