Internship and Placement PDF Print E-mail

LHRC hosts a number of interns in need of enhancing knowledge and skills through internship or placement from within and out of the country. Simultaneously   the centre has hosted students for field research or training as part of their studies (preferably first university degree or post-graduate levels) hence imparted them with a practical experience.

The Legal and Human Rights Centre has ever since its establishment in 1995 played host to more than 200 interns within and outside the country. Countries where interns have come from apart from Tanzania are Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Sweden, South Africa and USA

The acquired skills enabled the said interns to translate into action their human rights commitment. LHRC believes in sharing knowledge and experience through capacity building, a move which has made it remain a strategic and friendly environment for those who share the vision of the organization and willing to learn something new on human rights and legal matters.

Internship, placement and field research opportunities are not only for people with a legal academic background and human rights alone.  However   most of the interns and students possess a legal background.
